Emma is a legal director in our construction team and has been recognised in the Legal 500 for her ability in dealing with complex engineering disputes. Emma specialises in contentious construction matters with a focus on supporting clients with dispute avoidance and resolution.
Emma has experience in acting for a range of clients including developers, main contractors, local authorities, educational institutions, and other construction and engineering professionals. Emma is experienced in a dealing with the full suite of construction disputes including defective workmanship, delay disputes, payment disputes, loss and expense claims and professional negligence claims for defective design, amongst others. Emma has a wealth of litigation experience but can also guide clients through other dispute resolution forums such as adjudications and mediations.
Emma has a background in insurance litigation, having worked for household and commercial insurer clients so is also well placed to assist on any construction insurance disputes.
