Sian Quirk

Sian is an associate in our health advisory and inquest team. She acts for a wide range of NHS organisations, private health and social care clients on health advisory and inquest matters. Sian also has in-house experience due to a secondment at an acute hospital trust. This experience has given Sian a greater understanding of the challenges our clients face.

Sian completed her training contract at the firm and undertook seats in health advisory and inquests, clinical negligence, employment healthcare and criminal compliance and regulatory. Sian also undertook a six-month secondment at an acute hospital trust managing a large caseload of inquests and claims.

Sian’s training has focused primarily on the health and social care sector providing her with a holistic view on healthcare law and allowing her to build strong relationships with clients in this area.

Sian advises clients on Court of Protection and inquest matters, providing guidance on mental capacity, the Mental Health Act, serious medical treatment cases and safeguarding. Sian has also supported on high-profile neonatal inquests.

Sian is regularly involved in our Shared Insights forum, an online forum for NHS professionals to share their own experiences and learning on a wide range of topics.
