Brooke is an associate in our insurance and public risk team. She has experience in administrative, planning, housing and homelessness and environmental law. Acting for a range of clients such as central government, devolved administrations, local and planning authorities, arms-length and non-departmental government bodies.

She regularly undertakes complex advisory work, particularly regarding public authorities’ powers and the lawful performance of their functions, town and country planning, and the environment.

Brooke covers a varied caseload, which includes acting in judicial review proceedings, statutory nuisance proceedings (with an environmental aspect) and regulatory advice. She also regularly undertakes transactional work, particularly in the planning context.

Before joining the firm, Brooke practiced largely in housing and homelessness law, community care and public law in the non-profit sector. During this time, she obtained her Higher Rights of Audience. She has experienced both sides of the fence. This gives her a unique insight and strategic approach to any work she undertakes.
