Claire is the lead clerk to the Browne Jacobson Barristers team. Having professionally clerked for nearly 20 years, Claire brings her experience from Chambers to provide an excellent standard of service to our clients. She uses that experience to cater to both the individual barrister’s strengths and individual client needs, partnering with our clients to provide a seamless service and lasting relationship.
Claire is pivotal in ensuring that the barristers can excel in supporting both the wider firm and external clients, by clerking the team, providing them with proactive and high-level support, taking ownership of diary management, as well as marketing and fees.
Communication with the courts and other external partners is imperative to the smooth running of the team. Diary management, advanced planning, and being able to problem solve under time pressure, are just a few of Claire’s core strengths.
Claire’s role has been instrumental to the growth of Browne Jacobson Barristers’ year-on-year growth (the team have doubled in size in the last 10 years). Her business development acumen enables Claire to work closely with the firm to strategically grow and service target areas.
