Alexandra Myers

Alexandra qualified into the education team, following completion of her training with Browne Jacobson in September 2022. During her education seat, she was exposed to a variety of matters. From a corporate perspective, this included assisting in academy conversions and transfers. She gained experience in assisting schools in a range of queries, varying from issues of governance, contentious, administrative, to general enquiries.

Alexandra’s other seats were in health advisory litigation, real estate, and employment.

In health advisory litigation, she split her time between clinical negligence and inquest and advisory. She was involved in a range of cases, which included attending mediation hearings and preparing for inquests.

In real estate, she worked on a range of commercial transactions, acting for both buyers and sellers. She gained further experience by carrying out due diligence reviews on property and land purchases, and assisting colleagues in land development matters.

In employment, the bulk of her work was supporting education clients, where she was involved with a range of contentious work. This included assisting in tribunal matters and disciplinaries as well as engaging in settlement discussions. She also assisted colleagues with non-contentious work, including advising on a range of employment queries, and internal investigations.
