The facts

The Lords have at last reached a decision with regard to the Claimant’s Petition for Leave to Appeal from the Court of Appeal’s decision to the House of Lords. Barber -v- Somerset County Council is one of the 4 “Stress at Work” Appeals dealt with by the Court of Appeal last year. The Lords have decided to hear the Appeal in the case of Barber. The Petition is to be presented formally by the 31st July and the Hearing is anticipated either at the end of the year or the beginning of 2003.
