The facts

This is a very short report and relates to an architect’s negligence. Darren has suggested that it marks the replacement of the Bolan test by the Bollocks test. I quote the head note; “in an action for negligence if the profession itself embraced different views, then the competence of a professional person was to be gauged by the lowest acceptable standard”. i.e. presumably the new concept of acceptably bad work.
