Barristers immunity from suit.

The decision

Lord Hoffman gave the lead judgment. There has been great changes in the law of negligence. It was no longer appropriate to maintain the advocates immunity from suit in criminal or civil proceedings. The report I have is a summary of a report in the weekly law reports and is pretty short on legal arguments one way or the other.
