managing the inherent risks of a school restructure

Education funding is facing its biggest shortfall in a generation. Many schools are struggling financially because their budgets have not allowed for rises in costs like pensions and national insurance contributions, or inflation. Nor has there been extra cash for teachers’ pay rises. On top of that, the new national funding formula will mean more cash per pupil for some schools and less for other similar schools in a different postcode. Now more than ever, school leaders are having to look at ways of restructuring staff in order to save money.

In this webinar, Emma Hughes and Emily Addai will discuss options for restructuring staff costs and how and where this can go wrong. They are also going to discuss best practice approaches to enable school leaders to carry out processes that support the school to bounce back from a time of change more successfully.
