Collaboration is not new to schools but the range of matters they have to collaborate on and the importance of collaboration to the success of their learning community has changed significantly. Schools must therefore be 'intelligent browsers' and be highly selective about potential partnership structures if they are to secure the best possible outcomes for their children and young people.

Whilst collaboration is vital, there are many ways to do so. This document, produced by us in conjunction with the NAHT is designed to give school leaders key information on the range of options available to them.
