Collaboration is not new to schools but the range of matters they have to collaborate on and the importance of collaboration to the success of their learning community has changed significantly. Schools must therefore be 'intelligent browsers' and be highly selective about potential partnership structures if they are to secure the best possible outcomes for their children and young people.
