Tour de Browne Jacobson

26 April 2013

The Browne Jacobson trainees are well known for their involvement in fundraising activities and this year is no exception!

The last 12 months have seen Browne Jacobson expand to five offices across the country, so what better way to promote this and raise money for worthwhile causes than for the Browne Jacobson trainees to cycle between all of our offices this June? We decided there wasn’t one so – the Tour de Browne Jacobson is taking place this June.

The route is a total of around 635 miles and will be split into four legs, some of which will take two or three days, and a group of between three and five trainees will cycle each section:

Leg 1 – Manchester to Nottingham
Leg 2 – Nottingham to Birmingham
Leg 3 – Birmingham to London
Leg 4 – London to Exeter

All of the money raised will be donated to the firm’s charities.

The trainees prepared and presented a pitch to our managing partner and HR team to sign off the challenge and we are now training hard at our local gym (where one of the trainees has secured free spinning classes) and in our own time.

Doing challenges like this is a big part of being a trainee at Browne Jacobson and are a great way of developing our skill-sets, giving us a chance to bond with fellow trainees and an opportunity to show the firm what we can do if we set our mind to it!
