Usually two years before you wish your training contract to commence.

If you’re studying law you should be applying in the penultimate year of your degree, assuming you are not planning to take a gap year at any time after graduating. If you are studying a non-law subject you should be applying during your final year, again, assuming you are not planning to take a gap year.

Applications for our summer vacation scheme should be made by 15 March and for a training contract only by 3 May.

No, although we recommend that you select an institution that has a good resource base, a strong reputation, and offers a variety of electives.

No, however when choosing your electives you should decide what areas of law you wish to experience when you commence your training contract, for example studying criminal or family law may not be particularly beneficial to you if working for a large commercial law firm.

Once you have submitted an online application you will not be able to add to/amend it, however, you will be able to edit your contact details.

We run our summer vacation scheme normally late June and applications must be made by 15 March in order to be considered.

We do consider applications from non-EEA candidates.

We do not have a minimum grade requirement for A levels or degree.
