Browne Jacobson appointed to Crown Commercial Service’s Public Sector Legal Services framework

Browne Jacobson has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Public Sector Legal Services Framework on Lot 1a – full-service provision (England and Wales) and Lot 2a – general service provision (England and Wales).

Browne Jacobson has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Public Sector Legal Services Framework on Lot 1a – full-service provision (England and Wales) and Lot 2a – general service provision (England and Wales).

CCS supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

The framework contract was awarded in August and will be for a period of two years with the option to extend for a further two. The appointment will see the firm advise on a wide range of areas including: administrative and public law, charities law, contracts, competition law, corporate law, data protection, education, employment, energy, healthcare and social care, immigration, information technology, infrastructure, intellectual property, international trade, life sciences, licensing law, litigation and dispute resolution, outsourcing/insourcing, media law, pensions, planning and environment, public procurement, public inquests and inquiries, real estate and construction, restructuring and insolvency, social housing, tax and transport law.

This is now the tenth government sector framework that Browne Jacobson has been appointed to.
