Browne Jacobson leads Christmas fundraise across Greater Manchester

21 December 2018
12 Days of Christmas campaign

Browne Jacobson’s Manchester team has raised and donated a fantastic £6,740 for 12 key charities across Greater Manchester in aid of its 12 Days of Christmas campaign.

Beginning on 1st December, the team led and hosted a series of events, including a Santa dash, carol concert, and afternoon tea party, for charities such as the Bolton Lads & Girls Club, St Ann’s Hospice, and Wood Street Mission.

Each charity was allocated £500, however an additional fundraise by the team’s trainees raised an extra £740 for Bolton Lads and Girls Club. The charity will use the funding to provide young people with somewhere to go, something to do, and above all, someone to talk to.

Amanda Callaghan, partner and head of Manchester, said: “We are incredibly proud of our Manchester team for their commitment to supporting these 12 key Greater Manchester charities. Working with the teams and individuals behind these charities has been a truly inspirational experience, and each continue to work tirelessly to change lives across the city. We look forward to continuing to do our part to support these initiatives, and hope this fundraise can help make a difference at this special time of year.”
