The corporate team at Birmingham based law firm Browne Jacobson has advised the shareholders of Wolverhampton based Network Packaging Limited in the disposal of the entire issued share capital of the company to Macfarlane Group PLC for a maximum consideration of approximately £7.5m.
Formed in 1997 Network Packaging Limited is one of the countrys leading bespoke packaging solutions companies with a regional and national customer base spanning pharmaceutical, e-commerce and third-party logistics companies as well as leading providers of mobile phones and fashion retailers.
Glasgow based Macfarlane Group is a packaging and label company whose packaging distribution business, Macfarlane Packaging, is the UKs market leader. The Group employs over 700 people across 22 sites, principally in the UK, Ireland and Europe.
The Browne Jacobson corporate finance team was led by Roger Birchall, assisted by Tina Robinson.
