Browne Jacobson's corporate finance team has advised Care Fertility Group on its latest acquisition of The South East Fertility Clinic (SEFC).
Established in 2004 and with an annual turnover of £2.3m, SEFC is a Kent based private, dedicated fertility clinic providing a comprehensive range of state-of-the-art fertility treatments.
Operating since 1997, Care Fertility Group is the largest independent provider of fertility services in the UK. It has four full-service IVF clinics in Nottingham, Manchester, Northampton and Sheffield and these are supported by a network of nine other satellite centres across the UK.
This is the third deal Browne Jacobson has acted on for Care Fertility and follows on from the £60m Bowmark Capital backed management buyout of the Group in 2012 and the subsequent acquisition of London based Centre for Reproductive Medicine Ltd in 2013.
The Browne Jacobson team was led by corporate finance partner Gavin Cummings and assisted by Paul McCannah (corporate finance) and Beth Dowson (tax).
