Browne Jacobson announces 12 associate promotions

UK law firm Browne Jacobson has announced the promotion of 12 associates across its Nottingham and Birmingham offices.

The newly promoted associates are:

Nottingham

  • Helen Taylor - Employment
  • Michael Sadler - Construction and Property Risk
  • Paul Smith - ComSet (lawyer led volume claims handling service)
  • Susan Slade - Personal Injury
  • Stephanie Coates - Environment/Advocacy
  • Nina Best - Commercial
  • Jamie Otter - Education

Birmingham

  • Lisa McGinn - Property
  • Rachael Gooddy - Personal Injury
  • Dan Thomas - Personal Injury

The announcement follows a successful year for the firm in which it posted a record breaking £35.2m turnover. The firms first half results to date are also up 19 on the same period a year ago.

In announcing the promotions Senior Partner William Colacicchi added:

Midlands advisors successfully complete cross-border TMT Fanatical deal

East Midlands advisers Bishopsgate Corporate Finance and Browne Jacobson have successfully advised the shareholders of West Midlands based Focus Multimedia Limited (trading as Fanatical) on the sale of the business to US based Fandom Inc, backed by private equity firm TPG for an undisclosed sum.
