Browne Jacobson advises Staffline on TFR acquisition

16 October 2011

Staffline Group plc has continued its growth strategy with the acquisition of TFR Limited (Taskforce Recruitment).

Corporate lawyers at Browne Jacobson advised Nottinghamshire based Staffline on the acquisition of the Peterborough based recruiter.

Taskforce Recruitment was formed in 1989 and provides temporary personnel to a wide variety of industrial sectors throughout the East Midlands region including manufacturing, food and drink, transport and logistics and public services. The company holds around 1500 temporary contract workers on its books through its 10 locations.

Staffline Group plc is an AIM listed recruitment organisation specialising in permanent and temporary recruitment and training services to the food processing, manufacturing, e-retail and logistics. Established in 1986, the company has achieved outstanding growth in the last ten years both organically and through a series of strategic acquisitions.

Browne Jacobsons corporate team has acted for Staffline on more than ten acquisitions in recent years including Arnashade Recruitment, Qubic Recruitment, A La Carte and Ethos Recruitment.

Richard Cox, Corporate Partner at law firm Browne Jacobson, advised Staffline. He commented:

"Staffline has achieved outstanding growth in the last ten years thanks partly to its focused and hugely successful acquisitions strategy. TFR is a great complimentary fit with Stafflines existing portfolio and its strong customer base will further strengthen their foothold in the market."
