Browne Jacobson has advised Nottinghamshire based Staffline Group plc on the acquisition of certain assets and commercial relationships from Milton Keynes based Arnashade Recruitment after the business went into administration.
Arnashade Recruitment specialises in industrial recruitment servicing a number of corporate customers in the Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire area, including Northern Foods, Flamingo Flowers and Whitworths. With a turnover of approximately £9 million, the company held around 900 temporary contract workers on its books.
The deal marks the sixth acquisition by Staffline in the last 12 months which also includes Newcastle based Kelburn Industrial, Ethos Recruitment and FourstaR Employment & Skills Ltd from the Midlands.
Staffline Group plc is an AIM listed recruitment organisation specialising in permanent and temporary recruitment and training services to the food processing, manufacturing, e-retail and logistics. Established in 1986, the company has achieved outstanding growth in the last ten years both organically and through a series of strategic acquisitions.
Richard Cox, Corporate Partner at law firm Browne Jacobson, advised Staffline. He commented:
"The acquisition of Arnashade will sit perfectly with Stafflines existing portfolio and give the businesses further strength in depth. Stafflines growth shows no signs of abating and this latest addition will only further enhance their already strong regional presence."
