protection officer (DCPO) at all schools and academies,
this video provides practical guidance and advice on managing
disclosures of abuse. The detailed case study looks at managing the
disclosure, deciding on capacity to consent, including the tricky
issue of whether to obtain parental consent to share. The
importance of note taking and record keeping are explored, together
with passing the information to the DCPO and involving other
agencies.
