Completing a development agreement to tight
timescales
We had three weeks to draft, negotiate, agree and complete a
development and section 106 planning agreement for the regeneration
of a housing estate in Central London. The project was to be
delivered by a local housing association – partially on public
amenity land - over a period of 12 years in several phases. Getting
the agreement completed on time was critical to the provision of
£20m government funding without which the scheme could not
proceed.

Fast track adjudication process for invoice
dispute
A Housing Trust entered into an agreement with a
maintenance contractor to carry out day to day repairs and planned
maintenance to the Trust’s social housing stock. A dispute
arose over an alleged failure by the Trust to make payments against
interim invoices and the contractor commenced adjudication
proceedings.

Combating anti-social behaviour within residential housing

Our client, Tuntum Housing Association, was becoming frustrated
by the increasing levels of anti-social behaviour within their
housing stock. We were asked to advise on alternative courses of
action to reduce such behaviour including how they could combat it,
