Completing a development agreement to tight timescales

We had three weeks to draft, negotiate, agree and complete a development and section 106 planning agreement for the regeneration of a housing estate in Central London. The project was to be delivered by a local housing association – partially on public amenity land - over a period of 12 years in several phases. Getting the agreement completed on time was critical to the provision of £20m government funding without which the scheme could not proceed.
