Planning approval for a new fire station in Nottingham

the challenge:

To secure planning approval for Nottinghamshire and City of Nottingham Fire Authority for a new fire station at Hassocks Lane, Beeston and to deal with the required highways agreements and property transactions.  The project had to be completed to a tight timescale, as a senior member of the royal family was scheduled to open the new station.

our approach:

We submitted the planning application and dealt with amendments to the proposal, working closely with the Fire Authority at all stages of the process.  We also submitted all the approvals of details for the scheme to ensure that the development used high quality materials and that the finish was also of an excellent standard.  In addition, we carried out the highways agreements for the required junction improvements.

the result:

The planning approvals and highways agreements were completed on time, enabling the fire station to be built and the royal visit to go ahead as planned; property transactions were completed shortly afterwards.
