Providing seamless service to a major insurer

the challenge:

To provide Hiscox with an efficient and streamlined outsourcing service to handle certain professional indemnity claims and their administration.  This was to be undertaken for a fixed fee per notification and required close liaison with the Hiscox team to ensure their clients received a seamless service, regardless of who was processing the claims.

our approach:

We created a dedicated claims handling and administration team to work with Hiscox and their clients to process claims on a timely basis.  We also used our information technology capabilities to develop an innovative and award winning system to deal with the claims handling and to monitor and manage reporting.

the result:

The services have been successfully outsourced, providing a cost effective and efficient claims handling process that is fully integrated with Hiscox’s own systems and processes.  The work of the teams has been recognised, with Hiscox recently being awarded joint top ranking for their claims handling service in the Insurance Times survey in 2009, increasing their reputation and profile further in this competitive market.
