Corporate manslaughter
Running time: 5.17 mins
In March 2005 the Home Secretary published a new Corporate
Homicide Bill. When or whether the Bill will become law
remains to be seen but it highlights the importance of
organisations being aware of their existing responsibilities under
the law of manslaughter and Health and Safety Legislation.
In this interview, Andy Hopkin discusses the
proposed changes to the law surrounding corporate manslaughter and
how that might impact on Health Trusts.
