property and development team, the environment group provides
advice and support to industry clients on environmental issues,
from matters covering corporate transactions involving land, assets
or businesses through to pollution.
The team uses its experience and expertise to identify issues
before they become problems and provides clients with
straightforward, practical advice. The team helps clients identify
and obtain the necessary consents, licences and authorisations and
during corporate transactions, negotiates appropriate workable
solutions.
If disputes arise, dedicated criminal advocates, with
considerable environmental law experience, work with clients from
the outset to assemble and present the best case. The team also
regularly conducts litigation in the High Court and Lands Tribunal
and has proven skills in developing strategies for conducting and
defending prosecutions.
