employment

The extensive employment team at Browne Jacobson offers comprehensive services on all aspects of employment law. As well as representing employers at hearings, the team provides legal support for all the needs of a human resources department including drafting contracts and policies, regular seminars, an advice help-line and in-house training.

The team’s approach is focused on working with clients to improve human resources procedures and reduce the likelihood of employment tribunal claims altogether. This has been very successful and a large part of the team’s workload now includes proactively avoiding situations which could lead to disputes.

Over 80% of the work carried out by the team is for employers. If disputes do occur, the team has extensive experience of appearing as advocates in employment tribunals. Browne Jacobson’s employment services are available to employers of all sizes and can ensure that the human resources procedures remain up to date and in line with current legislation.
