commitment, ambition and enthusiasm for law - we want to know that you are serious about your career in law
work experience - how do you know law is for you if you haven’t had a taster?
academics - we look for people with high academic achievement and ability
practical approach - our clients want a common sense and commercial approach when solving their legal and business problems
commercial awareness - are you aware of what is happening in the business world
willingness to accept responsibility - you’ll be managing your own time and handling your own cases so we need to know that you’re up for the job
teamwork - we want you to be able to use your own initiative but also have the ability to work in a team
law or non-law - we accept applications from people with law or non-law degrees. The earliest you can apply for a training contract and open day is in the second year of a law degree or third year of a
non-law degree
drive - we look for people who get things done
