Areas of work

The pupillage is offered within our ‘insurance sector’ of the business and will encapsulate work from the dedicated specialist teams within that sector. Predominantly personal injury and clinical negligence lead, Browne Jacobson work for some of the major insurance companies, dealing with group litigation and catastrophic injuries through to relatively minor claims arising out of employers’ liability, public liability and road traffic claims.  Our road traffic specialists also have a dedicated credit hire section. We have a specialism in regulatory work, in the fields of health, education, fire and the corporate sector.  We have a strong criminal and health and safety expertise, and frequently appear at inquests and inquiries arising out of public, health and company related deaths. We have a specialist costs team, who advise and deal with the costs of litigation dealt with by the firm on behalf of our clients.

Our barristers and in-house advocates regularly appear before Courts and tribunals at all levels.
