Browne Jacobson wins eight rosettes for legal training

law firm rated best in the country for job satisfaction

5 October 2011

Browne Jacobson has been awarded eight rosettes for the third year in a row for the quality of its lawyer trainee development programme by Lex 100.

The firm was also rated the best in the country for job satisfaction due to its 'great reputation, good variety of different areas of law, top-flight training and abundance of client contact'.

Lex 100 is an annual survey that canvasses the opinions of current legal trainees at more than 130 of the UK’s leading law firms by asking them to rate ten key aspects of their trainee programme. The 20 highest scoring firms in each category then receive a rosette award.

Lex 100’s 2011 Student Guide to UK Law Firms awarded Browne Jacobson’s rosettes for job satisfaction, living up to expectations, quality of work, client contact, stress-free, friendliness and work/life balance and social life.

Eileen Henry, Director of HR at Browne Jacobson, said:

“We are naturally delighted that for the third year running we have achieved a top twenty ranking in eight key areas and a number one ranking for the very first time. As a firm, we invest a lot of time and energy in giving our trainees a great level of support and it is great to know they are genuinely enjoying developing their careers with us.”
