delivering successful NHS LIFT project
the challenge:
To assist our NHS primary care trust client with the successful
delivery of a number of new health and joint access centres under a
Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) project, within both the
timescales required and the cost constraints imposed by the
budget.
our approach:
To adopt a ‘can-do’ attitude to the delivery of our services.
LIFT is a document intense scheme that throws up a range of
commercial and site specific issues. By working with the clients’
project team from the inception of the schemes we were able to
fully understand their objectives and requirements for them. We
were then in a position to suggest solutions to the many issues
that arose during the development of the schemes, ensuring that our
clients’ objectives were being met at all stages of the process. We
are now progressing a further three schemes.
the result:
The LIFT project has successfully delivered five new health and
social care centres to meet the needs of the local populations.
Seeking out commercial solutions allowed the projects to be
delivered on time and in budget and set the basis for the working
relationship between the primary care trusts and their private
sector partner.
