Peter Stevens
Partner
Peter joined the firm in 2005 as a partner to
lead the Business Services team in its London office. He has a
wealth of experience in company-commercial matters, including
agency and distribution agreements, advertising and marketing,
competition law, share schemes and intellectual
property/information technology work.
He is also a Chartered Tax Advisor, and is
recognised by Legal Business as a leading expert in both E-Commerce
and Franchising. He has developed a particular reputation in the
motor sector, having represented five national dealer councils as
well as a large number of individual dealerships, ranging from sole
traders to public listed groups.
Fluent in German and French, Peter is a member
of the French Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain (where he sits
on its Advisory Council), and the secretary of the British-German
Jurists Association. He is a member of the International Bar
Association, the Society for Computers and the Law, the
Intellectual Property Lawyers Association and the firm's French
Inward Investment Group.
Away from work, Peter spends his time fly
fishing and playing squash. He also enjoys water gardening.
