Oliver Sweeney
Solicitor
Oliver is a solicitor with the firm, having joined as a trainee
in 2004 and qualifying in 2006. He is based in the Nottingham
office and conducts a range of commercial litigation, with a
specialism in regulatory issues.
He deals with a variety of issues, including contractual
disputes, injunctions, shareholder disputes, reputation management
including defamation, confidential information, and restrictive
covenants. On the regulatory side he deals with company
prosecutions, public inquiries, and frequently advises on the
existing and constantly changing regulatory framework which affects
businesses.
Away from work, Oliver plays football in the firm's 5-a-side
team and runs cross country with the firm's Running Club. He also
enjoys travelling and film.
