Nick Parsons
Partner
Nick is a partner in our Nottingham office and
has gained over nineteen years of experience in providing advice on
risk management and litigation avoidance to local authorities and
health sector bodies.
Nick is 'home-grown' talent having joined the
firm in 1987 as a trainee before quickly climbing the career ladder
to become partner in 1996.
Nick is an expert in handling large-scale
litigation and his experience includes defending numerous
multi-claimant actions fought against local authorities in respect
of negligence within their social services department. He has also
represented a number of local authorities in claims arising out of
alleged failure to educate (dyslexia) and bullying at school.
Nick handles 'stress at work' claims together with a wide variety
of other employers' liability and public liability actions. He also
deals with high value medical negligence claims on behalf of NHS
Trusts, health authorities and NHSLA.
Nick is the client contact partner on several
key accounts working with those clients to provide strategic
portfolio management.
Away from work, Nick has a keen interest in
nature conservation history and archaeology. He enjoys watching
cricket and walking.
