Iain Patterson

Iain joined Browne Jacobson in 2001 and is a partner at the
firm's Birmingham office where he specialises in employment law,
advising both public and private sector clients.
Iain advises on a wide variety of employment issues with an
emphasis on resolving and avoiding potential problems but also
conducts advocacy on behalf of his clients at tribunals. He is also
a regular speaker at seminars and is author of the employment law
section of Health Services Law and Practice. Both clients and
colleagues appreciate Iain's ability to provide practical and cost
effective solutions.
Away from work Iain's main interests include football, hill
walking and mountaineering, particularly in Scotland and the Alps,
although he does find carrying his young son on his back to slow
him down somewhat. Were he not a lawyer, his ideal job would have
combined his love of football with work by becoming a football
journalist.
