David Potts
Consultant
David is a consultant with the firm having joined in 1989. He is
based at the firm's Nottingham office and specialises in commercial
litigation especially property.
David also sits as a part-time County Court judge providing him
with a valuable insight into the workings of the judicial system.
He has recently obtained Higher Rights (Civil) and is now a
Solicitor-Advocate (Higher Courts Civil Proceedings).
In addition he is a member of the Property Litigation
Association, the Charity Law Association and the Education Law
Association. David is also a legal member of the Solicitors'
Disciplinary Tribunal appointed under the Solicitors' Act 1974.
Away from work, David occupies his time bird watching and
reading. He regularly has articles published on land law related
issues and is also governor of a further education college. Had he
not entered the legal profession, David would have liked to have
been an artist.
