Lorna Hardman

Lorna is a partner with Browne Jacobson,
based in its Nottingham office, having joined from
Capsticks in 2008.
Lorna has 10 years experience of the full
range of clinical negligence claims for the NHSLA, NHS Trusts and
Health Authorities, including many cerebral palsy, neurological
injury and Fatal Accident Act cases. She is experienced in all
aspects of handling claims including mediation and structured
settlements.
Lorna is also an experienced advocate,
representing NHS clients at inquests.
She is an experienced external lecturer on a
range of medico-legal topics, especially obstetric-related and is a
lecturer, chair and tutor on the Open University accredited
Risk Management diploma. She is also co-author of the second
edition of Litigation: A Risk Management Guide for
Midwives (co-written and published jointly with the RCM in
2005).
