Sarah Erwin-Jones
Partner
Sarah is a partner with the firm having joined in 1994 before
becoming partner in 2003. She is based at the Nottingham office and
specialises in social services, the care sector and legal costs
along with education.
Originally joining to work on two specific cases, Sarah has
gained a wealth of experience and dealt with a wide range of cases
including those relating to institutional abuse and professional
negligence. She has been involved in a number of high profile group
actions, even taking test cases to the court of appeal and is also
involved in advising a number of clients on risk management issues
including Data Protection Act issues. Part of Sarah's role involved
becoming familiar with complex cost negotiations and she is now in
charge of our in-house costs team.
Away from the firm, Sarah has a passion for the theatre and is a
regular participant and spectator of theatre productions. Her
interest in the arts is further demonstrated by being a keen
visitor to the cinema. She also plays badminton and goes
swimming.
