Peter Ellis

Peter is a partner with Browne Jacobson having joined in 1981
before becoming partner in 1984.
He specialises in intellectual property and commercial
litigation or dispute resolution. Peter has had extensive
experience acting for clients in relation to intellectual property
disputes including patents, trade marks, copyright, designs and
confidential information. He also advises clients on commercial
disputes, in particular breach of contract and other claims arising
from interruption to trade. He is the current President of
Nottinghamshire Law Society and is a member of the Intellectual
Property working party of the Law Society of England and Wales.
Peter is an experienced chair of various voluntary trusts. He
enjoys all kinds of sports particularly cricket, rugby, skiing and
golf (although not at the same time!). He is Secretary of
Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
