Paula Dumbill
Associate Solicitor
Paula is an associate solicitor with Browne Jacobson at the
firm's Nottingham office. She joined in 1998 and specialises in
intellectual property and information technology.
Paula has extensive experience in non-contentious intellectual
property work. She advises clients on the strategic management of
trade mark portfolios and on brand extension and exploitation
through arrangements such as licensing and franchising. Paula has
particular experience of advising clients in the retail sector and
proprietors of premium brand sports and outdoor wear.
Paula also advises on trade mark and domain name disputes and
works closely with her litigation colleagues on the resolution of
disputes. She has experience of conducting intellectual property
opposition proceedings. Paula also has experience of advising on,
drafting and negotiating contractual agreements along with advising
on e-commerce and regulatory issues.
When she isn't working, Paula enjoys visiting Norfolk, the
occasional trip to the races and discovering new country pubs.
Alongside this, her 'must do' list includes good food and visits to
Paris.
