Virginie Courmont
Solicitor
Virginie is an assistant solicitor with Browne Jacobson at its
London office. She joined the firm in 2000 after studying French
Business Law in France (DESS Juriste International).
Having decided to qualify in English law, Virginie completed her
training with the firm, qualifying in March 2005. She is part of
the firm's French Inward Investment Group (FiiG) and specialises in
commercial/corporate law. Virginie has experience of advising on,
drafting and negotiating contractual agreements and on intellectual
property law and helps French companies set up business on this
side of the Channel.
Away from work, Virginie spends her time renovating her country
house in France (recently acquired after months of intense
negotiations!), cooking and going to the cinema. She also enjoys
travelling.
