Heidi Connor
Associate Solicitor
Heidi is an associate solicitor within the firm at its
Nottingham office.
She has a range of experience in health law work, including
dealing with high profile litigation, such as the Sellafield
childhood leukaemia litigation, and the Maxwell litigation. Her
primary focus is now clinical negligence work, but she has
experience of solicitors' and accountants' negligence litigation,
personal injury and commercial work. She has advised in various
health-related areas, including consent, disclosure and the Human
Rights Act, and has assisted an NHS client to obtain an emergency
court order out of hours, to enable life-saving treatment to take
place.
Heidi did most of her schooling and attended university in South
Africa, where she grew up intending to be a forensic pathologist.
She returned to the UK in 1992 with a BSc and LLB, and re-qualified
in the UK. She gets her exercise by running after a young toddler
at home. Her proudest achievement is winning the 'Monty Python
Sense of Humour of the Year' Award whilst at Law School.
