Tom Baines
Trainee Solicitor
Tom is a trainee solicitor with Browne Jacobson
having joined in 2006. He is based in the firm's Nottingham office
and is currently part of our employment
team.
Tom's role involves dealing with both
contentious and non-contentious employment matters on behalf of a
variety of clients, including contractual issues, unfair dismissal,
redundancy and all areas of discrimination.
Prior to this Tom gained experience within the
firm's corporate department, advising the owners, managers and
funders of companies in relation to a range of corporate
transactions. He has also spent time in the firm's social
care and education team.
Away from work, Tom enjoys going to live gigs
and is a guitarist in a band. He also plays football for the firm's
five-a-side team and is in training for the Robin Hood half
marathon.
