Richard Barlow
Partner
Richard is a partner with the firm specialising in environmental
law, nature conservation and administrative law issues.
He is head of Browne Jacobson's countryside team and has
extensive experience of a wide range of legal issues including air
emissions, water pollution and contaminated land. Richard is
relationship partner with a number of the firm's local authority
clients and is a member of the firm's town and country planning
advocates.
Away from work, Richard is a keen hill-walker, having walked
throughout the British Isles and worked as a Walking Leader for HF
Holidays. He has been playing cricket for Basford Hall Old Boys
Cricket Club since 1992 and is a member of Sherwood Forest Golf
Club. Richard is chair of the Nottingham Green Partnership
comprising private, voluntary and public sector organisations to
further Local Agenda 21 in Nottingham.
