Mark Barnett
Associate Solicitor
Mark is an associate solicitor with the firm at its Birmingham
office specialising in medical negligence and healthcare law.
Since joining the firm in 2001, Mark has advised upon general
health law queries including judicial review, consent,
confidentiality and the Mental Health Act. He regularly presents
seminars and training to both clients and colleagues on a variety
of health law topics. Mark is currently on secondment for two days
a week to the Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Trust.
Away from work, Mark plays hockey for Edgbaston Hockey Club
along with being social secretary for the club. He also does Thai
boxing and has taken part in the London Marathon and several half
marathons. Sport aside, Mark balances his time with reading and the
occasional trip to the theatre.
