Helen Blythe
Trainee Solicitor
Helen is a trainee solicitor with Browne
Jacobson having joined the firm in 2006. She is based in the firm's
Nottingham office and is currently part of the construction and
property risk team.
Helen's role involves advising clients on
different forms of construction contracts, appointments and
warranties. She has experience of working on a wide range of
disputes relating to leasehold and freehold property including rent
reviews, dilapidations disputes, business lease renewals, tenant
default and restrictive covenants disputes. She also assists on a
variety of construction litigation for the firm's construction and
development clients.
Prior to this, Helen gained experience in the
firm's corporate and insurance litigation teams.
Helen is a member of the Executive Committee
of the National Trainee Solicitors Group and is involved primarily
in public relations work, helping to raise the group's profile and
purpose both with students and throughout the legal profession.
Away from work, Helen enjoys running, skiing
and going to the gym. She is a keen traveller and spent last summer
travelling around South America. Helen also plays the piano and
clarinet.
