Edward Benson
Partner
Edward is partner with Browne Jacobson and head of the
employment department. He joined in 1989 and became partner in
1993.
He has extensive experience of employment law having defended a
variety of employment tribunal claims, including substantial
multi-day discrimination claims. He has advised employers on
employment contracts, policies and procedures including negotiating
in dealing with trade unions. His work has been recognised by the
Legal 500 as they identified him as one of the leading employment
lawyers in the East Midlands. Edward is a regular speaker at
seminars on all aspects of employment law and has written numerous
books, journal and press articles.
Away from work he plays tennis, spends time entertaining his
children by inventing stories and games and has a keen interest in
music.
