Browne Jacobson advises Apiary Capital on investment in Spanish Point Technologies

UK and Ireland law firm Browne Jacobson has advised UK private equity firm Apiary Capital on its investment in Spanish Point Technologies Limited, a leading Microsoft and Databricks cloud specialist headquartered in Dublin. 

The deal was supported by Browne Jacobson international private equity capabilities, with the firm harnessing their cross-border team to support Apiary Capital. The team was led by Gareth Davies (corporate) and Salwa Ali (corporate) in the UK with Dublin-based Partners William Darmody, Gavin Bluett and Director James Byrne leading the Irish corporate workstreams, supported by Associates Nadine Cannon, Chiara Quandamatteo. Specialist support was provided by Partner Marie Claire Scullian and Associate Jack O'Connor (employment), Director Emma Middleton and Associate Elanna Dunleavy (real estate), Partner Jeanne Kelly and Senior Associate Raymond Sherry (data protection), Partner Craig Thomas (tax) and Senior Corporate Tax Advisor Jade Williamson (tax), and Partner Shaun McCabe and Senior Associate Patrick Berry (banking).

Spanish Point, founded in 2005, is Microsoft's largest Azure partner in Ireland and provides cloud, AI and enterprise software solutions to global enterprise customers. Apiary Capital's investment will support the continued international expansion of the business, including the development of its proprietary software products and potential acquisitions across Ireland and the UK.
